Not Your Cheerleading Pom Pom

I was never a hat person prior to this season. The only time I would be caught dead in one was a baseball cap at the beach or at the gym. This season I decided to step outside my comfort zone and try a couple! I love the classic fedora from my post Baby It's Cold Outside but this pom pom beanie is so much fun. This beanie has easily become a winter weekend essential.

It's funny I got this hat on a whim. I ran into Target quick on my lunch break one day in December, I was on a mission. I needed gloves, a hat, and a flash light for a winter 5k I was running that night. I could have gotten a more basic beanie but what is the fun in that?

When I was packing to head to Portsmouth, NH this weekend with my mum for a little girls getaway this ensemble was a definite must. I'm smitten for the lace detail on this sweater and I these boots have become my favorite pair this season.

I encourage you to try something outside your comfort zone! It is easy to fall into the same items over and over again but be bold, be daring, and most importantly be-YOU-tiful.
