The Pant you Need to Give you Edge This Season

Happy Fri-YAY beautiful people!! Man, what a week it has been. I’ll save you the dramatics because that is not what we are here for but could someone please pass me a DRANK! Now back to your regularly scheduled content…

The weather in the North East is FINALLY heating up (60 degrees)! We are at that awkward time where you’ll see half the population wearing boots, while the others are showing off their polished pedicures in open toe shoes. I’m sure you can guess what camp I’m in. If you have been following for sometime you know I don’t typically wear pants (#teamnopants). Despite this popular belief, the one item to give you a fun edge this spring is paper bag waist cropped pants! Shocker, I know. These pants are just so versatile! I got these ones from J.Jill , I am wearing a medium because I wanted more flow. There are only a few sizes left online so if you would like these exact pair I would suggest going in store. I have also linked a couple similar pairs below.

The paper bag waist may not be for everyone but there are SO many different variations out there. This waist pictured is definetly more subtle than other options available to you. Simply pair these pants with your favorite tee or tank, toss on some sandals, & you will look instantly put together. You could take it to the next level by adding a denim jacket or hat. These pants even have the ability to be dressed down by wearing a sneaker, the possibilities are endless! This silhouette is also flattering on almost all body types.

Every trend is not for everyone but I highly recommend this one. I understand that you may feel like you have to buy into every fashion trend (damn you, Don Drapers of the world) but, the way I look at trends is more inspirational. The idea is to make a trend work for YOU, your lifestyle, body type, & budget. I hope today these pants inspire you & that you are able to translate them to your personal wardrobe. If not, that is okay too! Till next time!
