The Most Beautiful Coat that Didn't Cost a Million Dollars

Hello, upper east siders. Oh wait…I’m not in a Gossip Girl episode although, I feel like this look is serving up some serious Blair Waldorf Vibes.

Well, beautiful it has been a while since my last blog post. (Literally, May 31st 2019) I hope this new year has been very happy for you so far! On the Fashology front I have started a new role on the merchandising team at CVS buying their handy & body lotion, sun care, & sunglasses. It has been a good move but as you know starting any new job is a major life change that comes with learning curves. We also celebrated 5 years of Fashology where we kicked off our styling services! Fashology also has a new addition to the team, Tasha from Fisher College. She is an absolute gem. Now that you are caught up let’s get to the fashion, shall we?!

If you have been following along on social media you probably know that my hubs & I spent a week in London. The trip was an absolute dream. About 1 week before I was on the hunt for the perfect “london coat”. I was looking everywhere online. I didn’t want to spend so much money on a coat because I wanted to reserve our funds for the trip. Spotted: one afternoon while shopping with my mum in my local Tj Maxx I found this maroon Ann Taylor beauty which cost me a whopping $29.99. I couldn’t find it to link but, I found something similar below. It has been the perfect 3rd layer for this mild winter. Not only was it budget friendly but makes me feel effortlessly chic!

This time of year is the perfect time to find your coat for the next winter season. Stores are trying to move through their remaining inventory so you will be able to find great sales. You can enjoy your new purchase for the remaining days of this season as well!

I paired this coat with my tan sweater, black skinny jeans, & black pumps. For an extra touch I added this super cute animal headband. I have worn this look to date night, parties, & on the weekend. Will you be finding your next coat?!
