Hello, beautiful! We made it to Friday again (insert happy dance). I'm extra excited because next weekend I will be going on a girls trip to Disney with my mum & younger sister. This week's post features the last pair of Berkshire tights I was given. I love the back seam. They remind of learning about WWii in my History of Fashion class in college. Nylon was being used for parachutes so females could not buy tights so with makeup they would paint a back seam up their legs, creating the illusion that they in fact were wearing tights.
Cool, right? I paired these tights with my faux leather skater skirt, tee shirt, & my Adidas shell toes. The athleisure trend is here in a big way, meaning that active wear: sneakers & work out apparel is being migrated to everyday wear. I interrupted this trend to fit my personal style by adding my sneakers to a slightly dressier look.
What are your thoughts on athleisure? On the weekends I like to wear jeans so I will wear these sneaks a lot but other than that my style is on the dressier side. I don't think I could go full blown athletic wear other than at the gym. But that is just me & my personal style. Making trends work is just that, working them for your lifestyle & personal taste.
