Date Night Look & How I feel About Valentine's Day

Hello, beauties! Happy Friday! Whether you have heard this today or not you are beautiful, smart, & fabulous. You are exactly where you need to be. I’m sure your feeds are filled with pink & red outfits I wanted to take a different kind of twist to this time of year (Valentine’s Day). I wanted to show you a go to easy date night look which could be worn on a date or for a girl’s night out. Whether you are into Valentine’s day or this look will work for fall & winter!

If you have been following me for awhile you may know that I am not all that fond of Valentine’s Day. It’s not because I don’t have a soul, it’s simply because I believe in showing love everyday opposed to one day of the year. I blame the sappy hopeless romantic in me. Do I think it’s absurd to celebrate? No, it’s just not my thing but if it is yours I wish you an amazing Valentine’s Day! Anyway, thanks for coming to my Ted Talk & let’s get to the fashion.

I took a simple black dress & added it with tights because in MA it is freezing. I have also been utilizing sheer tights this time of year but I opted for black. I added a faux suede rust color motto jacket & completed the look with animal heels. This look is a mix of sugar, spice, & everything nice. To me, animal is definitely a neutral while also adding a pop of interest to any look. Plus, the animal pairs so well with the rust color faux suede motto jacket. The motto jacket gives this look a little edge but the little black dress exudes classic. I guess I had to be some what festive with this pink lip shade.

I hope this look gives you some serious date night or girls night out inspiration. It is simple to put together! Anyway, no matter what you are doing this Valentine’s Day I wish you the best day ever!

Till next time!
