How to Update your Summer Wardrobe on a Budget

Girls just want to have sun! ( & lobster rolls) It is the kick off to summer, Memorial Day weekend! Whether you are headed down to Cape Cod, visiting your family back home, or staying local I hope you have the best weekend ever! As we transition into summer I wanted to give you a simple way to update your summer wardrobe on a budget, ACCESSORIES!

This actually rings true for any season really. Accessories are a simple yet budget conscious way to update your already existing wardrobe. This look I started with a denim on denim base. I brought it to life by simply adding a hat, sandals, wicker handbag, & styled this scarf as a belt! The hat I am wearing I actually got in Portugal for like 10 euro but I found a very similar one below! The sandals are Steve Madden & really pull the brown together in this look. The bag I specifically have is from TJ Maxx but I linked a fun round option below from Forever 21. I’m a fan of the round handbag it adds a geometric element to any look. Lastly, this scarf has got to be my favorite. Mine came on a hand bag YEARS ago. This season I have been wearing it as a hair accessory (like a headband or around my ballet buns), pictured I am wearing it as a belt! I thought this was a cute way to break up this Canadian tuxedo, I half tucked my shirt so you could get a good look at the belt.

Hat $10 + Bag $22.90 + Scarf $9.99 = $43 !

For under $50 you can get 3 accessories that will update your summer wardrobe. You don’t have to wear them exactly as pictured, you can mix & match with whatever you have in YOUR closet. That is the beauty of accessories! Well babes, I hope you practice this budget friendly way to update your wardrobe this season!

Cheers!
