The Dress I am Loving & Everyone Needs

Hey Fashology Family! Are you prepared for the holidays?! Currently, I’m writing this post from my sister’s pop up shop, Muse Mama. She rented a cart in our local mall, there are 2 hours left, & we have very limited stock of her awesome art. I always try to support small businesses when I can! Which brings me to this specific dress. This dress is sold out but from one of my new favorite boutiques, Charley Madelyn! Every time you buy from a small business I truly believe their team (or often times the 1 person behind it all) does a little happy dance.

This silhouette of dress, the baby doll is one of my favorites. I think especially in times of corona holidays & not wanting to get dressed this style can feel very comfortable while looking elevated (plus it’s great to twirl in). I’m not sure about you but, I find myself getting dressed up just to feel good these days. Whether you are dressing up for the holidays or not this style is still a great addition to your wardrobe, it is super versatile in the sense that you can dress it up or down.

I styled this dress with my teddy coat from peach ‘s last year collection, with my over the knee boots, tights, & a red lip from Swedish Jealousy wearing “the weekend” from their classic dual pack. When putting together an ensemble I glean inspiration from anywhere travel, pinterest, my mood, & more. If I’m being honest for this look I was feeling “a little bit Alexis”! If you haven’t watched Schitt’s Creek I highly recommend! I could rock this look to dinner, a small holiday (safe) gathering, to the grocery, or even at my house because it’s that comfortable! This style offers plenty of room to eat all the holiday treats & of course paired with a mask!

Where do you get your fashion inspiration from?! Do you have a dress like this in your closet?

Anyway, from the Fashology team to you & your family we are wishing you the happiest of holiday seasons!
