How To Be First In Class To Transition Seasonal Style

Punxsutawney Phil has predicated an early spring, judging by the recent warm temperatures he isn’t lying. Hello, lovely! I hope you have been enjoying this warm weather as much as we have. We are itching to do a little spring shopping especially since we will be down in Raleigh, NC in a couple weeks.

A new season brings a fresh breath of change which typically equates to a few new pieces to refresh your wardrobe. Right now may seem slightly early to pull the trigger on spring purchases so why not use what is already have hanging in your closet to transition in style first in class!

This dress I picked up from Scout & Molly’s Lynnfield, I have linked a couple similar dresses by the same brand below. This dress has been perfect for the warmer weather days because it is light & presents the option to wear with or without tights. You can do this too! To transition in style first in class you can take any fall/winter dress you have, skip the tights, & pair it with boots. It’s so simple to make something you already own work.

LAYERING is also your friend during these strange times of flux in weather. Mother nature can be very indecisive have a great leather jacket, blazer, or cardigan close by. To help smooth the transition in season I like to mix heavier pieces with lightweight fabrics like in this look . I paired a sweater which is heavier in weight with a super lightweight skirt to have the best of both worlds, cozy yet breathable.

Personally, I think it is too earlier for peep to shoes but you can definitely get away with rocking bare legs & boots. Have you been experiencing mixed feelings when it comes to dressing this time of year? I hope this post gives you clarity & some easy to apply tips to make getting dressed easier!
